A new destination in the city opens in the center of Milano, in the heart of the Quadrilateral. Closed for over twenty years, the former Archiepiscopal Seminary, one of the oldest seminaries in Europe, located in the San Babila area, in corso Venezia 11, is now Portrait Milano, a hotel by Lungarno Collection group but also an area for shopping, dining and wellness. The opening of this new square will connect corso Venezia and via S. Andrea for the first time, modifying pedestrian access through the fashion district. The most important place is occupied by the famous fashion boutique Antonia, which has opened a new 750 square meter store designed by the architect and designer Vincenzo De Cotiis.

Antonia is symbol of fashion in Milan and in the world. The store mixes luxurious and established brands with up-and-coming avant-garde designers. Every item is chosen with great care, taste and passion through constant research. Established in 1999 as an upscale accessories store by Antonia Giacinti, Antonia quickly expanded its range to include women’s wear and men’s wear, the latter steered by co-founder Maurizio Purificato. From Palazzo Cagnola in Milan’s Brera district the power duo exported their vision abroad. In 2016 they opened a Antonia store in Macao, followed by K11|Antonia in Hong Kong in 2019 and Antonia inside Wuhan’s K11 Art Mall in 2021. Portrait Milano is the new perfect match for Antonia’s curated selection of well-known brands and avant-garde talents. Under the vaulted colonnade, awe-inspiring interiors and eye-catching visuals trigger curious collaborations with international brands, cult streetwear labels and sports powerhouses. A place for global fashionistas worldwide and local fashion-addicted alike.

Portrait Milano also includes SO-LE Studio, the first flagship store of the jewelry brand created by Maria Sole Ferragamo, which rescues abandoned materials; the Beefbar, a restaurant project founded by Riccardo Giraud opening in January 2023; the Longevity Suite, a new wellness area that will open next spring; and a gastronomic restaurant guided by the young Piedmontese chef, Alberto Quadrio which will be inaugurated in February 2023.
