LuisaViaRoma, the Florentine luxury multi-brand e-tailer, will open its first international flagship store in New York in 2023. The new store located at 1 Bond Street in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood.

The retail advisory firm Mona recently revealed that LuisaViaRoma, owned by the Style Capital private equity fund led by Roberta Benaglia, has signed a long-term lease for a new space of about 7,855 square feet at sidewalk level and 5,000 square feet on the lower level. The store will be located at 1 Bond Street in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood. The yearly rent is $3.2 million.
The new store will replace Blick Art Materials, which already moved to another location.

In September 2021, Style Capital, the Milan-based private equity fund specialized in fashion and lifestyle brands, invested 130 million euros to acquire a 40 percent stake in LuisaViaRoma. The capital is now being used to boost LuisaViaRoma’s ongoing rapid growth in its core markets alongside its international expansion plans.

Founded in 1929 by the Panconesi family with the opening of the eponymous concept store on Via Roma in Florence, today LuisaViaRoma is the most relevant Italian luxury multi-brand e-tailer and one of the leading players in global online luxury. With over 90 years of history, LuisaViaRoma is one of the first players in the multi-brand space, launching successfully its online business luisaviaroma.com in 1999 and attracting new generations of young fashion-savvy-users through a visionary understanding of trends combined with a superior service.
