On the occasion of the opening of the Who's Next trade fair, which took place from Jan. 21 to 23, 2023 at Porte de Versailles in Paris, Dhl Express France, in collaboration with French Women’s Ready-to-wear Federation (FFPAPF), awarded the Dhl Talent International Mode Prize, a competition for fashion designers. Selected among six finalists, Mapoésie, the French label founded by French designer Elsa Poux in 2010, won the 2022 edition of Dhl prize. The winner will be assisted in growing its international business by means of ad hoc mentoring and a €10,000 endowment of Dhl Express shipping coupons.

Graduated from the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris, the creative director is inspired by ethnical cultures and handcrafted “savoir-faire” to create her unique creations. Led by the duo Elsa Poux and Nathalie Barataud, the company, which since its foundation has specialized in stationery and home decoration items, has gradually diversified its range introducing women's ready-to-wear and leather goods in 2018.

Mapoésie is commercialised by 160 retailers in France and also sells its ready-to-wear and accessories at museum shops, like the Louisiana museum in Denmark, and, from next summer, New York's MoMA. Mapoésie sells through its wholesale channel in France and also by participating in trade shows, such as Maison & Objet in Paris, Cabana Beach in Miami, and Mode in France in Seoul. The label took part in the Dhl Talent Mode International Prize in order to boost its international growth.
