Launch in January 2020 by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, with the support of Defi, the Sphere showroom will open its new edition on Wednesday March 1 to Tuesday 7, 2023 at the Palais de Tokyo, featuring six young designers, who will present the womenswear Fall/Winter 2023/2024 collections. Sphere is part of its mission to support emerging talents. It brings together a group of brands invited to the official calendar or fashion prize winner, selected for their creativity and development potential.

A digital version will also be available by invitation with the help of Le New Black and Grand Shooting.

The labels showing at Sphere’s first edition are Benjamin Benmoyal, Florentina Leitner, Germanier, Maitrepierre, Pressiat, and Thebe Magugu.

Benjamin Benmoyal
Benjamin Benmoyal is a graduate of Central Saint Martins. He then studied at Alexander McQueen and Hermès and founded his eponymous brand in 2020. Eco-responsibility and experimentation are at the centre of his work as he creates a unique fabric woven from VHS and audio tapes. Inspired by his origins, he reinterprets the volumes and drapes of traditional Moroccan outfits.

Florentina Leitner
Florentina Leitner playfully combines a chic wardrobe with girly details. In her collections, she embraces her Austrian roots and Belgium, where she settled after studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and working for Dries Van Noten. Already known for its 3D prints and flowers, the brand founded in 2022 produces its collections in small artisanal factories in Italy.

Germanier
Graduated from the Geneva University of Art and Design and the Central Saint Martins, Kévin Germanier reach the attention of professionals thanks to his eco-friendly glamour approach. After collaborating in China for the luxury brand Shanghai Tang, then Louis Vuitton in Paris, he begins in 2018 the Germanier adventure, and stand out by his silhouettes using dead stocks of fabrics, pearls and rhinestones, loved by many stars like Kristen Stewart or Björk.

Maitrepierre
After studying at La Cambre in Brussels and internships at Jean-Paul Gaultier and Acne, Alphonse Maitrepierre founded his eponymous brand in 2019. Mixing technological innovation and ecology, he masters an assumed old-fashioned with structured jersey silhouettes and colorful prints. In 2021, he won the Prix de la Ville de Paris Prize Emerging Brand and was also noticed for his collaborations with Emmanuelle Khan and Desigual.

Pressiat
Vincent Garnier Pressiat created his eponymous gender-neutral brand in March 2021, which defines itself as chic with a Parisian elegance, but also provocative: men and women are brought into a world where all inhibitions fall away. PRESSIAT combines craftsmanship, architecture and art with nightlife. Graduated from IFM, Vincent has previously worked for John Galliano, Maison Margiela, Saint Laurent and Balmain.

Thebe Magugu
Thebe Magugu studied design, fashion and photography at the prestigious Lisof School of Fashion design in Johannesburg, South Africa. He launched his brand in 2017 driven by the strong desire to elevate the view of African fashion. He creates modern clothes with an African twist, employing local resources, using local crafters and artisans. The brand won 2019 Lvmh Prize. In 2022 Thebe Magugu made collections for AZ Factory and Adidas, a capsule with Dior and a collaborative exchange with Valentino Couture.
