2023 International Woolmark Prize jury revealed

The Woolmark Company has revealed the new jury members to announce the 2023 International Woolmark Prize winner.

The winner of the annual prize dedicated to designers, which will be announced in Paris on May 15, will be selected by a group of experts of the sector. The jury that will decide the winner from a group of eight designers includes Zegna artistic director Alessandro Sartori, Alaïa creative director Pieter Mulier, Marni creative director Francesco Risso, CR Fashion Book founder Carine Roitfeld, The Woolmark Company managing director John Roberts, model Caroline de Maigret, Farfetch chief fashion and merchandising officer Elizabeth von der Goltz, fashion designer Salehe Bembury, Yehyehyeh founder Shaway Yeh, fashion writer Tim Blanks, Tilting the Lens founder Sinéad Burke, and photographer Tyler Mitchell.

The finalist designers of the 2023 International Woolmark Prize include Amalie Roege Hove, designer of Danish label A. Roege Hove; Adeju Thompson, the founder of Lagos Space Programme; Italian designer Marco Rambaldi; Jaehyung Lee, the designer of Maxxi; design duo Lucile Guilmard and Paolina Russo of the label Paolina Russo; Rhuigi Villaseñor, founder of Rhude and Bally's new creative director; Anthony Alvarez, founder of Bluemarble; menswear designer based in London Robyn Lynch.

The winner will receive 200,000 Australian dollars (about 120,7 thousand euros) to be invested in their business. The Karl Lagerfeld Award for Innovation will also be awarded to another finalist and the Woolmark Supply Chain Award celebrating outstanding contribution from a trade partner to driving wool supply chain innovation.
