Milan Men's Fashion Week, between debuts and comebacks

Milan Men’s Fashion Week returns from June 16 to 20, 2023 with a schedule including important comebacks and new brands.

This year’s edition will present 22 physical and five digital runway shows, as well as 30 presentations, of which four by appointment, and 11 events, for a total of 72 appointments. Valentino will open Milan Fashion Week staging a fashion show entirely dedicated to male universe titled Valentino The Narratives, held on June 16 at 2 pm at the Università degli Studi di Milano Statale. Zegna will close the Milan showcase on June 19 at 2 pm.

Seoul-based fashion label Andersson Bell will take the runway for the first time, while the brands Maccapani, Maison Laponte, Marcello Pipitone-Bonola, German label MCM, Setchu and Italian sustainable brand Skin of Nature will debut on the calendar with a presentation.

Milan Men’s Fashion Week will also mark the return of Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Neil Barrett.

Tuesday, June 20, will be dedicated to digital content presented on the Cnmi platform: the brands Carnet-Archive, Gams Note, Maragno and Uni Form will be present on the calendar for the first time with digital content.

The new advertising campaign created by Cnmi, the Municipality of Milan and Yes Milano to promote the Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection Spring/Summer 2024 is also focused for this edition on the narration of the iconic places of Milan and will be broadcast on the screens and through the billboards of the Municipality of Milan from June 09 to 20. The campaign shot by photographer Marco Imperatore at the Arena Civica with styling by Roberta Astarita, features four models with looks by Federico Cina, Maison Laponte, MTL Studio, and Bonsai.

In addition to the upcoming Milan Fashion Week, the ninth edition of the Fashion Film Festival Milano. The fashion and culture event founded and directed by Constanza Etro running from June 12 to 19, continues to build a system to strengthen the exhibition of the Made in Italy abroad, in a contemporary, digital and cutting-edge international contest. It ensures that the content of young Italian designers and established brands can maximize their exposure in a top-tier global environment. This edition will be enriched with two new projects. The first is a free streaming platform offering a selection of 270 fashion films streamed free from 60 countries, including works from Gucci, Prada, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy e Jacquemus, alongside those from extraordinarily talented emerging filmmakers in line with the Festival's philosophy "The Big One Helps the Small”. The second is FFFMilano’s debut in the metaverse which will enable Meta-spectators to create their avatar, interact with others and visit a virtual auditorium showcasing the films in competition or discover the winners of the annual edition, which will be revealed during a ceremony scheduled on June 19.
