Fashion Film Festival Milano-FFFMilano, the international fashion and culture event founded and directed by Constanza Etro, celebrates its ninth edition in collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the patronage of the City of Milan, during Milan Men's Fashion Week from June 12-19, 2023.

FFFMilano continues to build a system to strengthen the exhibition of the Made in Italy abroad, in a contemporary, digital and cutting-edge international contest. With the global network that FFFMilano has built over 9 years, it ensures that the content of young Italian designers and established brands can maximize their exposure in a top-tier global environment.

This edition will be enriched with two new projects. The first is a free streaming platform offering a selection of 270 fashion films streamed free received from 60 countries, including works from Gucci, Prada, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy e Jacquemus, alongside those from extraordinarily talented emerging filmmakers in line with the Festival's philosophy "The Big One Helps the Small”. Among the fashion films in the competition, stand out highlights such as "CK1 Palace" created by the celebrated British filmmaker and photographer Alaisdair McLellan for Calvin Klein & Palace featuring Willem DeFoe and Lourdes Leon or the short story "Jemima Kirke is Bambi LeBeau" directed by young filmmaker Katie McCurdy featuring actress, painter and co-star of the "Girls" series Jemima Kirke. FFFMilano once again positions itself as a bridge between different cultures, addressing the theme of diversity and inclusion with films such as Izzy Mana and Enrico Bellenghi's "Familiar Traces" an intimate account of the second-generation black BIPOC community and artist Miss Kam's film called "Ción, Mami" about the perception of daily life told by trans people of color. There is no shortage of Italian films of the highest quality, including the dreamlike immersion that Floria Sigismondi captures in her "The Dream of Dreamers" for Ferrari or the comical tale "La Vacanza” (The Holiday) imagined by Salvatore delle Femmine e Federico Scaglia for Versace next emergent talents such as Michele Rombolà and Giorgia Colonna and their tale “Ninetta” about growing up gay in South Italy.

The second project is FFFMilano’s debut in the Metaverse which will enable Meta-spectators to create their avatar, interact with others and visit a virtual auditorium showcasing the films in competition or discover the winners of the annual edition, which will be revealed during a ceremony scheduled on June 19 at the Odeon Cinema. The 16 winning films will receive exclusive trophies designed by the artist Fornasetti.
