The Berliner Salon combines design and fashion to promote national and international attention and to establish a new, sophisticated and at the same time self-confident understanding of the artistic and creative demands of fashion, photography and design. The concept includes a multi-day program, which is put together from various salon events to present a curated selection of the most relevant creative talents and brands in Germany. The focus is particularly on the holistic claim of the Berlin Salon. This is decisive for the participation of the design talents in the group exhibition. This means that the designers are committed to the sustainable and contemporary development and production of their collection.

The Berliner Salon presents and represents german designer talents within a curated group exhibition and has developed into the most important meeting of the fashion and creative industry in Germany in the recent years. The Berliner Salon was opened by Christiane Arp, FCG chairwoman and Marcus Kurz, managing director of Nowadays Initiates and Forms the heart of Berlin Fashion Week.
