Excellent feedback for Italian Fashion Days in Korea. The exhibition project took place from July 18 to 20, 2023, in the new Coex location, the best-known Gangnam Exhibition Center in Seoul.

Over 700 operators were registered in the 3 days of the event, almost double compared to the last summer edition, confirming the fact that the Korean market is very receptive to Italian brands and that the show format works. The physical participation of the companies makes it possible to give a unified image of Made in Italy, with a balanced presence of clothing, fur, footwear, and leather goods, thanks also to the numerous partnerships activated.

Furthermore, the new Coex headquarters, in the heart of Gangnam, where the most important players in the fashion sector are based, turned out to be a good thing as a type of location, both in terms of positioning and accessibility. Italian Fashion Days in Korea represented an important opportunity to get to know the new spring/summer 2024 women's and men's collections of the leading Italian companies.

This edition of the trade fair appointment was also organized in close collaboration between Ente Moda Italia, the Italian Fur Association, Assocalzaturifici, Assopellettieri, Sistema Moda Italia, and in partnership with Bottega Italia. The event, strongly desired by the Italian Embassy in Seoul, was also realized thanks to the support of ICE, which coordinated the promotion of the event on-site and contributed to the project also through the ICE Fiere Smart 365 digital platform, dedicated to giving visibility to Italian companies on international markets.

“A great satisfaction for the results achieved”, said Alberto Scaccioni, managing director of Ente Moda Italia. “In this edition, we recorded an excellent increase in both buyers and participating companies, a clear sign that the choice of the new location worked very well. In addition to the many positive feedbacks received, we have also recorded some aspects for improvement, which will be useful for the next editions of the event."

The next edition of the Italian Fashion Days in Korea will be from January 31 to February 2, 2024, again at the new Coex exhibition spaces.
