Milano is ready to welcome a rich number of brands, with awaited debuts and many events already scheduled.
Camera della Moda unveiled the provisional schedule of Milan Fashion Week, running from Sept. 19 to 25, that will feature 62 physical runway shows of which 4 shows are digital.
Tom Ford's creative director Peter Hawkings will present his first collection in Milan, while the Neapolitan designer Sabato De Sarno is on his debut in Gucci, together with Simone Bellotti for Bally.
Avavav, Chiara Boni Le Petite Robe, Karoline Vitto supported by Dolce&Gabbana, Maxivive, The Attico (the label founded by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini) and Tom Ford will walk the runway for the first time on the calendar. Aigner will return to the fashion show calendar.
The event will be opened by Iceberg, followed by Antonio Marras, Fendi, Del Core, Marco Rambaldi, Alberta Ferretti, N°21, Roberto Cavalli, Etro, and Diesel. The brand designed by Glenn Martens will once again open the doors of its runway show to the public with a maxi event that will take place at the Scalo Farini.
Max Mara, Act N°1, Prada, MM6 Maison Margiela, Emporio Armani, Moschino, Gcds all present their collections on Sept. 21. Moschino will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a fashion show paying tribute to the legacy of founder Franco Moschino.
In the following days there will be, among others, Tod's with the latest collection designed by Walter Chiapponi, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Sportmax, Msgm, Han Kjøbenhavn, Jil Sander, Tokyo James, Bottega Veneta, Shuting Qiu, Giorgio Armani.
Monday September 25 will be dedicated to digital content presented on the CNMI platform. Guido Vera, Maison Nencioni and Phan Dang Hoang will be appearing on the calendar with digital content for the first time.
The CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2023 organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in collaboration with the United Nations' Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) will take place at Milan's Teatro alla Scala on Monday September 24. The 2023 CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards will feature virtuous personalities and organizations in the world of Italian and international fashion that have been outstanding in their commitment to sustainability in its fullest sense and therefore in terms of vision, innovation, promoting crafts, recognition of differences, circular economy, human rights, environmental justice and biodiversity.
