Following the signing of an MoU last February, Tranoï and China Select, the international promotional organization set up by the China Fashion Association (CFA), have jointly selected six designers to present their SS 24 collections in Paris for the first time. As exclusive partners, China Select and Tranoï are supporting Chinese designers who reflect the innovation and know-how of a new force in Chinese fashion design. This selection also expresses China Select and Tranoï's commitment to supporting Chinese designers in their international development.

The six Chinese designers embody the cosmopolitanism and cultural richness of a country too long confined to its industrial base. Selected for their creativity and talent, these designers see their work as both rooted in their own identity and open to the world. To be discovered during Tranoï Women at the Palais Brongniart from Sept. 28 to Oct. 01, 2023, in a dedicated space.

Here are the six selected designers:

dot Minute
dot Minute} was founded by designer Cici Lu in 2016. The brand's name is not unlike a domain name, as Cici Lu incorporates the notion of temporality into the construction of her collections, which are unisex. Cici Lu's brand is recognised and sold in China's biggest cities.

Luozheng
Designer Luo Zheng gave her name to her brand founded in 2013, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Her collections combine oriental culture and contemporary design, with a light style and natural materials (pure natural silk, linen, etc.). Luo Zheng won the 10th Jinding Prize (China's prestigious fashion award) and was the first Chinese designer to take part in New York Fashion Week.

Sarawong
Sara Wong began her career as an auditor at PWC before turning to fashion and graduating with a degree in fashion design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Sara drew a lot of her inspiration from medieval art, and her collection is a clash between retro and modern, at the crossroads of different cultures. Fusion, balance, determination and uniqueness are some of the key elements of the brand.

Seredippo
Founded in 2015 in Shanghai by Lei Wang and Chunchun Xu, Seredippo is a leather goods brand born of a passion for design. It is defined by a high level of craftsmanship that can be seen in every detail and a researched work on the texture and structure of each product. The brand now has over 20,000 customers and more than 50 retailers in China.

Shijie
A graduate of Zhejiang's Sci-Tech Fashion University, Shi jie created her eponymous brand in 2010. Shijie combines heritage and innovation. Always imbued with poetry, the collections offer subtle touches of oriental culture and arts & crafts.

Siqi.Z
A graduate of Esmod Paris, Siqi Zhang founded her label in 2017 after working in the Rick Owens and Givenchy studios. Siqi.Z pays a lot of attention to the development of the pattern, the silhouette and the tailoring of the details in design. Exquisite details and simple silhouettes are the windows to express the strength and wisdom of women. It is the original design intention of Siqi.Z to make clothing casual, comfortable and ingenious.
