The independent association is back as a protagonist in Milan women’s fashion.
Csm Meets Sustainability, the event dedicated to green brands, now in its eighth edition, organized by Csm-Camera Showroom Milano together with Confartigianato Moda, with the support of Cbi-Camera Buyer Italia, will take place on Friday, September 22 from 7pm to 9pm at Palazzo Isimbardi in Corso Monforte 35, Milano.

The objective is still to support and give visibility to small and medium-sized artisan enterprises in the area and to the more sustainable ones. A short film made by Ylenia Busolli on the themes of environment, respect for the planet, and the need to make the apparel supply chain sustainable, will be screened during the evening event. The short film will present, promote, and give visibility to participating brands in the event.

There will also be Csm Culture Club, the cultural initiative promoted by Csm. During every men's and women's fashion week in Milan, Csm dedicates an exhibition, a tribute, a retrospective to the icons, to historical periods, and above all to the characters, who have been able to bring innovation, inventiveness and creativity to the fashion industry. In this edition, thanks to the contribution of the Lombardy Region, a retrospective dedicated to Giovanni Battista Giorgini, who with the fashion show on 12 February 1951 in Florence marked the birth of Made in Italy, will be presented on September 22.

In addition, from September 19 to 25, Artisanal Evolution arrives in its tenth edition, presenting a traveling itinerary through the Milanese showrooms, made possible with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and supported by Cbi-Camera Buyer Italia. The goal is to give new impetus and visibility to artisan companies, both those associated with Csm and companies from Confartigianato Moda. "The collaboration between Confartigianato and Csm is of great importance during the Milan fashion week. Confartigianato Moda could only take a step forward to consolidate the national fashion system, to restore impetus to the production and promotion of Made in Italy," commented Moreno Vignolini, president of Confartigianato Moda. "The memorandum of understanding with Csm guarantees an important synergy between SMEs and high-level distribution, to create a great team and for the national and international restart of the country system".

«We are proud of the partnership with Confartigianato, added Gigliola Maule, president of Csm. "Having such a large player at our side allowed us to conceive and launch Artisanal Evolution, which everyone now considers the 'fuori salon' of Milan, supporting artisan businesses that represent the excellence of Made in Italy in the world."

According to Mauro Galligari, communications director of Csm, there are two ways to work in the fashion world: driving revenue growth or focusing on creativity, trying to innovate and invent new things. "Working in fashion and looking only and exclusively at turnover, I think it's bad. Work in fashion and leave your own creative sign or their vision, I think it is one of the most beautiful and wonderful things.”
