The Trade Shows dedicated to fashion and accessories that took place over the past few days at Fieramilano in Rho closed yesterday with excellent results. Micam Milan, Mipel, The One Milan and Homi Fashion&Jewels Exhibition were visited by 42,273 trade visitors (+21% on the September 2022 edition) from 129 countries.
Above all, the fairs revealed an increasing demand on the part of foreign buyers, proving the importance of exports in strengthening the recovery of the industries represented.

The final figures for the events show growing numbers of visitors from Spain, France and Germany; as regards non-Eu countries, a long-awaited comeback of China and confirmations from Japan and North America with Canada and the Usa.

2000 brands presented their collections for the coming season, marked by a strong commitment to research and innovation, quality and a keen awareness of sustainability. Young people, the lifeblood of any ever-changing industry, were once again the protagonists of all the events thanks to dedicated initiatives and special areas. Creativity, talent, research into materials and production technologies, as well as attention to the rapidly changing world of fashion, marked the emerging designers’ creations.

There was also a plethora of opportunities to meet and discuss the hottest topics for the industry, from sustainability to artificial intelligence, from new production technologies to the future of retail.
