On the 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic, Özgür Masur ''celebrates the mystical lands'' with his 100-piece "Anatolia" collection, which is inspired by the women who are the architects of Anatolia's unique intellectual heritage.

The haute-couture fashion show “ANATOLIA” by OZGUR MASUR will take place at Tersane Istanbul on October 26, 2023.

Integrating with his own DNA with the Anatolia collection, Özgür Masur brings new forms to his conceptual analytical line.

The collection is entirely handcrafted. Many details of Anatolia such as macrame, needle lace, wire lace, hand-woven fabrics are combined with scarf bindings, carpet weavings and tile patterns unique to this geography and transformed into current forms.

The collection goes beyond Anatolian history to an inter-civilizational journey. The collection, which Özgür Masur describes in his words; "A gift to my country", will be presented on October 26th evening as a celebration of the Declaration of the Turkish republic on October 29, 1923.


OZGUR MASUR

Ozgur Masur established his self-titled brand in 2008 with a collection that is part of the IF Fashion Fair and opened his Showroom in the same year.

His collections can be defined “Pret-A-Couture” with an aesthetic DNA that is situated between tradition and modernity. His signature is the subtle couture craftsmanship and a mixture of forms and colors with modern tailoring. Masur also has an Haute Couture and a Bridal Collection in addition to Pret-A-Couture. He also has been the Co-President of the Fashion Designers Association since 2018.

Ozgur Masur is represented by Showapp Showroom.

Showapp was born in 2014 in Istanbul thanks to the desire of its founder Sahra Katoglu to introduce Turkish designers to international market. Since then, Showapp has grown to manage the wholesale operations of numerous Turkish and international brands in local and foreign markets, with a special focus on the Middle East.
