In 2024, Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, organized by the JFWO-Japan Fashion Week Organization, held various events for the general public under the theme of “Open, Fashion Week”, sharing the charms of Tokyo fashion with a wide audience. Based on this achievement, the organisation will present a new season Spring Summer 2025 according to the concept of “Fashion Fanfare”, showcasing the latest and greatest creations, with a variety of content so the public can discover the fun and emotion of Tokyo’s fashion scene.

The Japanese fashion empowerment project "by R", founded by Rakuten Group, Inc., will showcase a total of 33 brands in their upcoming event. 26 brands will present physically, while 7 brands will present their collections digitally. Among the 33 brands, 6 will be presenting for the first time including Telma, House of Muamua, 52tenbo+, Wilsonkaki, Marcus Covington, O0u, and Keiko Nishiyama. In addition 7 overseas brands have been selected to participate. The event will primarily take place at Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills, with plans to also showcase some brands at their respective venues. The lineup for this season includes returning brands from previous Tokyo Fashion Weeks, as well as newcomers and established brands, some of which are from overseas.
