Fashion Graduate Italia, now in its ten edition, returned to Base Milano to celebrate the creativity of young talents from October 22 to 24, 2024. The event, dedicated to young fashion talents, is organized by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda Ente del Terzo Settore (ETS), with the contribution of the Lombardy Region and the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and the support of Lineapelle and CNA Federmoda Lombardia.
A three-day event open to the city, as well as to professionals and experts in the sector, in which young talents from the best Italian and international Fashion Schools and Academies presented themselves through innovative projects and content in a physical and digital showcase. The program includes fashion shows, talks, workshops & lectures, static exhibitions, and much more.
This edition chose "Eyes wide open" as its guiding theme, an invitation to students to connect with reality and with others with a more authentic and empathetic approach.
Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda (ETS) brings together the best Italian institutions and academies for post-diploma training in the fashion sector and today has 51 campuses in Italy with over 20 thousand students and approximately 6 thousand teachers and 80 associated campuses at an international level. Fashion Graduate Italia aims to connect this educational heritage with the world of work, renew the fashion system and make it increasingly competitive with respect to the challenges of the global market.
For the 2024 edition, Fashion Graduate Italia, through the international project Talent To Talent, born in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan as part of the City to City collaboration program, brings to Italy the creations of students from the most prestigious fashion and design universities in the cities of Chicago, Melbourne and Shanghai. This continues a successful format that places our fashion education system at the center of a network of international excellence.
Seventeen, this year, the Italian schools, academies and fashion institutes participated in the event, in addition to 13 international universities: Accademia Costume & Moda; IUAD Fashion Academy; Accademia del Lusso; HARIM Euromediterranean Academy; AFOL Moda; Domus Academy; Ferrari Fashion School; IAAD. Institute of Applied Arts and Design; IED - European Institute of Design; Burgo Fashion Institute; Istituto Marangoni; Istituto Modartech; Istituto Secoli; NABA, New Academy of Fine Arts; Next Fashion School; Moodart; Raffles Milano.
