The seventh edition of the Istanbul Fashion Connection will be held from February 5 to 8, 2025. With an expanded exhibition center of 35,000 square meters in 8 halls, over 500 exhibitors and brands will present themselves to the expected more than 30,000 national and international visitors.
"Our fashion industry plays a strategic role in our economy through its value-adding production, its contribution to employment, and its exports. For years, we have consistently been one of the top three export sectors. We are the sixth-largest supplier worldwide and the third-largest for the European Union. Today, we are a country of brand production with a solid infrastructure and extensive expertise," said İHKİB vice president Mustafa Paşahan. "Every year we make significant progress in design and branding. Our brands represent the sector in 3,000 shops in more than 100 countries. Some of our brands are even market leaders in the countries in which they operate. IFCO acts as a driver of the Turkish fashion industry and is an indispensable part of the international fair calendar."
The event brings together trends, innovation, and professionals, showcasing the versatility of Turkish fashion and the best trends in womenswear, menswear, kids wear, denim, sportswear, evening dress, lingerie & hosiery, leather garments, shoes, and accessories.
The Core Istanbul in hall 7 once again brings 25 designers such as Meltem Özbek, Tuba Ergin, and Erkan Demiroğlu to the stage. Design talents show their latest creations and inspire with their current collection just like leading Turkish retail brands such as İpekyol, Damat, and Kığılı.
The FashionIst area in halls 5 and 6 will host fashion shows and events for evening wear, it will showcase the strengths of the Turkish fashion industry, focusing on high-quality designs and new trends. The Turkish lingerie and hosiery industries, important pillars of the export economy, will be represented with their top products in halls 9 and 10 at LinExpo. Kids' fashion will be presented in Hall 8 and will take center stage at IFCO with fashion shows.
The EU's eco-design initiative, which promotes sustainable product regulations, will also be recognized at IFCO. Sustainable practices and innovative designs will be highlighted at the trade fair to support change in the industry.
Daily fashion shows by companies will inspire attendees with their latest collections. Complementing these showcases, an extensive program of seminars and workshops will feature expert insights from organizations such as WGSN, IUAD Naples Fashion Academy, Le Koko Collectif, and more. These sessions will explore the spring/summer fashion trends; the impact of social media, online sales, and AI for fashion marketing; the intersection of fashion consulting and current trends, etc.
The Trend Area, curated by the prestigious fashion academy IMA, serves as a hub for innovation. This space reflects the latest developments in the fashion industry, offering visitors an engaging environment to explore cutting-edge trends and themes, with this season’s theme AW26-27 Mindscape. "The Mindscape" concept embodies a profound connection between science and spirituality, merging technological innovation with holistic well-being.
