“The February Milano Fashion Week is an expression of the fashion industry’s determination to respond to the complexity of the situation we’re facing," said Carlo Capasa, president of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. "The creativity, pragmatism, and flexibility that have always characterized Made in Italy are the right tools to use in such challenging times. Now more than ever, we need concrete action on a structural level, initiatives that bring together all the players and operators for the dual purpose of innovating, in the spirit of the moment, and strengthening our industry, which is unique. To this end, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is stepping up its commitment to dialogue with the government and calling for new policies in support of the fashion industry. The week’s calendar also reflects our constant commitment to promoting new-generation designers in various channels, and we are convinced that Milan is a prestigious and fertile platform for all the players in our industry.”
