Brenda Bellei Bizzi, ceo of White represents Made in Italy at the 22nd edition of the Colombo Fashion Week, as part of the celebrations for the Italian Design Day and the Days of Italian Fashion in the World.
In particular, White actively collaborates with Colombo Fashion Week Summer 2025 by presenting Sicilian designer Cettina Bucca, who showcases her Spring/Summer 2025 collection on February 19. The brand Cettina Bucca was founded in Milazzo in 2010 as a bespoke tailoring atelier. Thanks to its participation in White, Confartigianato Imprese, and the support of the Sicilian Region, it has quickly transformed into a journey into the world of Made in Italy fashion. Each garment is distinguished by the quality, beauty, and refinement of its fabrics. The prints are the result of the creativity and passion of the designer and the brand’s illustrators, who create original and one-of-a-kind graphics and paintings.
"White is an international exhibition that attracts a wide range of stakeholders during Milan Fashion Week, spotlighting over 12,000 fashion companies and 90,000 industry professionals. Since White has served as a launching platform for numerous designers, including Uma Wang, Kidsuper, Botter, and Windowsen, having Brenda’s expertise, experience, and knowledge shared with local designers, both emerging and established, will enhance the understanding of Italian fashion and design in Sri Lanka and contribute to the success of Colombo Fashion Week,” said Damiano Francovigh, Italian Embassy in Sri Lanka.
As a long-standing international reference for contemporary women’s fashion design, White represents a true development platform that promotes Italian companies and sustainable fashion in an international environment. During her stay in Sri Lanka, Brenda Bellei is engaged in various activities, including meeting with fashion students from the College of Fashion & Design to discuss topics such as circular fashion ethics and provide them support on approaching the global fashion industry.
“I am truly delighted to represent Italian fashion through the White model at Colombo Fashion Week, and I sincerely thank Ambassador Damiano Francovigh for inviting me to this prestigious event," commented Brenda Bellei Bizzi, ceo of White. "Over the years, our platform has gained international recognition for the quality and allure of our exhibitors, whom we actively support at every stage of their commercial and communication development. Among them, Cettina Bucca currently embodies the excellence of Made in Italy, beauty, and exceptional craftsmanship. We are confident that at CFW, she will be well-received by both local and international industry professionals.”
