On the occasion of London Fashion Week (February 20 - 24, 2025 ) the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) gave the opportunity to four Hong Kong fashion brands to showcase their Fall Winter 2025 collections at the Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show held on February 20, 2025 in Shoreditch, a vibrant cultural and artistic hub in East London.
Supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, the fashion show featured designers: Angus Tsui's brand: ANGUS TSUI, Bettie Jiang's brand: BETTIE HAUTE COUTURE, Rickyy Wong's brand: RICKYYWONG and Nathan Moy's brand: Z I D I.
The collections of the four creative talents that celebrated the diversity and creativity of the Hong Kong fashion scene, propose original urban aesthetics. They communicate values of sustainability, cultural references and visions of the future.
Over 380 people were present, an English and international audience composed of buyers including those of Selfridges, media, including journalists from Wallpaper, Dazed Korea, Marie Claire, ELLE, Forbes and Numero who covered the event and special guests.This event, which further highlights the dynamics of the Hong Kong fashion industry on the global stage, promotes exchanges with the British fashion industry.
For this edition, Fashion Hong Kong also launched cross-cutting creative activities that produce synergies between the London event context and Hong Kong street culture.
- Renowned Hong Kong neon artist Jive Lau, brand: KowloNeon created custom neon light installations that gave audiences a glimpse of Hong Kong's unique cultural heritage.
- Noiseless, a Hong Kong design team that designed a mobile guide at the event site to promote the city's design brands.
To foster international business partnerships, the HKTDC set up a showroom at Pop Group in Shoreditch, London, which runs until March 21, 2025.The showroom will enable Hong Kong designer brands to interact with buyers and media through organised matchmaking meetings.
