At the upcoming edition number 108, Pitti Immagine Uomo, held from June 17 to 20, 2025, at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, will shine a special spotlight on presentations and events defined by original and eclectic stylistic research.
Post Archive Faction (PAF), the menswear brand founded by young Korean designers Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, will be the guest designer for June 2025. In Florence, PAF will stage a special event conceived specifically for Pitti Uomo and supported by Pitti Immagine and the Korea Creative Content Agency.
"For several seasons now at Pitti, we’ve been paying particular attention to the culture and aesthetic of South Korea," said Lapo Cianchi, director of communications & events at Pitti Immagine. "It’s a growing market, highly significant for Italian fashion and for the fair, considering the strong turnout of journalists and business professionals at Pitti Uomo, but also a fertile ground for scouting the new generation of fashion designers and young creatives who stand out for their versatility and ability to connect different artistic languages and disciplines."
In recent seasons, PAF has further pushed the boundaries of aesthetic norms, exploring new techniques, materials, and silhouettes. Beyond K-pop and social media obsession, the brand has developed a personal style lexicon that dynamically blends archival references, asymmetrical cuts, sportswear-inspired solutions, and experimental design. The event conceived for Pitti Uomo will also serve as a window into the new desires of young consumers, capturing the pulse of the freshest trends in the global market.
"Post Archive Faction (PAF) is the archive of the future," commented Dongjoon Lim, creative director of PAF.
Post Archive Faction (PAF) is a ready-to-wear brand fabricating new structural formulas. Established in 2018 by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, PAF has articulated its vision by blurring boundaries between the norms of the established design landscape: deconstructing and reassembling garments and objects to explore the new areas of human creativity. Asymmetric constructions, crinkling techniques, and heavy paneling define PAF’s unique and calculated design language. Since the first collection was showcased in 2018, PAF has presented its exploration of the garments during Milan and Paris Fashion Week over the past years. The brand collaborated with Virgil Abloh for Off-White, District Vision, and On.
