The 108th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, which will be held in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, from June 17 to 20, 2025, turns its gaze toward bold stylistic exploration and fashion experimentation, highlighting creativity marked by eclecticism and a forward-looking vision.

The announcements for the special events program continue: this season’s Guest Designer will be Niccolò Pasqualetti, the young Tuscan designer, already a finalist for the 2024 LVMH Prize, recognized as one of the most promising voices in the emerging global fashion scene. From Paris, where he shows as part of the official Fashion Week calendar, Niccolò Pasqualetti will bring his distinctive style and vision to Florence. During Pitti Uomo, a special runway show event will serve as the exclusive platform for the debut of his menswear collection.

"Much like Jean Arp, who inspired his jewelry design, Niccolò Pasqualetti invents new forms of reality through his garments, experimenting with diverse materials," said Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at Pitti Immagine. "Starting from the sartorial codes of traditional Italian menswear, which he boldly reinterprets, Niccolò creates collections where past and present, masculine and feminine, classic and contemporary coexist in a uniquely organic and original way. It was easy to be drawn in by his recognizable language and the rich, layered complexity of his references and messages, all resolved and brought together by thoughtful design choices, evident in every single piece. But even without all that, we would have been won over by the understated elegance of his Italian heritage, a quiet custodian of roots and stories, artisanal traces and deep expertise. We’re thrilled to celebrate in Florence the fresh and unstoppable talent of a true Tuscan, someone who merges aesthetic sophistication with expressive freedom. We can't wait to discover the experience he’s envisioned for Pitti Uomo and its audience. We’re certain it will be filled with emotion and surprise."

"It means a lot to be invited to show at this season's Pitti Immagine Uomo, which for me has always stood for rigour in the making and meaning of clothes," commented Niccolò Pasqualetti. "Being from near Florence, I am especially thankful for this chance to return and present my work here. The codes of menswear have always informed my desire for precision, for expressive details, and for a certain freedom in dressing. I’m eager to evolve these codes while staying true to them."

Niccolò Pasqualetti trained at Iuav in Venice, in Belgium, and at The Row in New York, before undertaking an M.A. in womenswear at Central Saint Martins in London, followed by a period working at Loewe in Paris. In 2021, the year he launched his eponymous brand, Niccolò Pasqualetti received the Franca Sozzani Award. He was also the recipient of the Camera Moda Fashion Trust award in both 2023 and 2024. In 2024, he was nominated as a finalist for the LVMH Prize. Pasqualetti is now based between Paris and his native Tuscany, where the collections are produced alongside local artisans.
