Australia’s inaugural fashion tradeshow, Splash Sydney, will take place over 4 days from May 12 to 15, 2025, and at two locations as part of AFC Australian Fashion Week. Splash Sydney’s tradeshow provides a platform for discovery and rounding out fashion week’s comprehensive showcase of the Australian industry and talent.

On May 12-13, Splash Sydney will open the week with an industry-only trade showroom at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, presenting over 70 Swim, Resort, and Lifestyle Brands. Then, from May 14-15, the Advanced Designer edition will take place at Carriageworks with a focus on contemporary and high-end apparel and accessories brands.

The Splash Sydney program has been curated to ensure a strong proposition of Australia’s best emerging and established apparel, eyewear, jewellery, and accessory brands set for expansion.

Carla Zampatti, ESSE, Joseph & James, and Ngali are confirmed to take part in the Atelier trade showroom at Carriageworks as a core commercial strategy alongside their runway presentations throughout the week. Other notable participants include Bond-Eye Swim, Liandra, Ilio Nema, Madre Natura, State of Escape accessories, and Sol Sana footwear. Emerging designers to look out for include Christian Kimber, ESSE, Diana Klisaris, Mastani, Friend of Audrey, and Golden Hour. There has also been a strong interest from International brands looking to establish themselves in the Australian Market. Van Palma, Modalita, OneOne Swim, Perfect White Tee, and Bahia Mari, among others, will leverage Splash Sydney to connect with the domestic Australian industry and buyers and establish local wholesale networks.

Over 700 Buyers, Media, and Industry have registered to attend Splash Sydney. Key Buyers expected in attendance include Netaporter, Nordstrom, The Chaloub Group, Ssense, Liberty, Browns, Harvey Nichols Kuwait, Moda Operandi, FWRD, David Jones, The Iconic, Heinemann Australia & The New Trend.
