CHIC Shanghai will highlights innovative products, business matchmaking, and the future markets

CHIC is set to take place from September 2 to 4, 2025, at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai. Spanning over 50,000 square meters, the autumn edition expects to host more than 800 exhibitors and welcome around 60,000 visitors. The event will showcase Spring/Summer 2026 collections across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, accessories, footwear, and bags.

The focus is on innovative product presentations, precise business matchmaking, and the development of dynamic future markets. CHIC will open its doors at the National Convention and Exhibition Centre in Shanghai from September 2 to 4, 2025. More than 800 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors are expected to attend the autumn event on more than 50,000 sqm at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai, showcasing Spring/Summer collections 2026 of womenswear, menswear, kids wear, accessories, shoes, and bags.

With nine curated exhibition areas, the autum edition of CHIC offers an overview of current trends and developments in the fashion industry in the North Entrance Hall, Hall 2.1 and 3 of the National Exhibition & Convention Center Shanghai: CHIC Selected (market leader with a focus on quality and innovation), CHIC Impulses (designer), Denim World, Sports Outdoor, Tailoring Journey, Fashion Tech, The Wardrobe, Unique Specialties, and accessories, shoes, and bags.

This year's autumn edition picks up on the motto "Fashion Picnic" not only in terms of design: Natural design elements, interactive exhibition formats, and the picnic-inspired meeting area create space for dialogue, discovery, and creative inspiration. Industry salons, trend showcases, and networking formats invite visitors to discuss forward-looking topics in the global fashion industry. Picnic stands for coming together, sharing, and discovering, joint market opportunities, mutual inspiration, and the sharing of visions.

As an established platform for business initiation and trade, CHIC has held over 1,000 matchmaking sessions and successfully networked more than 600,000 trade visitors to date. The spring 2025 edition attracted 165,000 trade buyers, 55% of whom were at CHIC for the first time. In autumn, the trade fair will once again hold targeted matchmaking meetings for various channels and markets and tap into new buyer potential.

A wide range of specialist seminars and workshops as part of the CHIC Talks offer a platform for an intensive exchange of knowledge. Industry experts, leading brands and organisations come together to discuss current developments and to underline the role of CHIC as a forward-looking centre of expertise in the fashion industry. CHIC Shows will present the creative highlights of the coming season with prime fashion brands well as joint shows of leading national fashion organizations. The runway formats demonstrate the style awareness and innovative potential of the exhibiting labels.

As the central digital tool of the trade fair, the CHIC WeChat Mini programme bundles all important services, from visitor registration and business matching to the publication of live streams. It is used intensively by exhibitors, visitors, and partners and is an indispensable element of the digital trade fair infrastructure.
