At the e-P Summit held at Florence’s Stazione Leopolda, Pitti Immagine and UniCredit announced the winners of their Innovation Call, spotlighting standout fashion tech start-ups. The e-P Summit Innovation Award was presented to Movopack, while Tailoor was selected for support through UniCredit Start Lab, highlighting both companies as emerging leaders in the evolving intersection of fashion and technology.
The e-P Summit Innovation Award went to Movopack, a start-up that deals with packaging that can be reused up to 20 times. Compared to disposable cardboard, it reduces waste by 99%, CO₂ by 84%, energy by 80%, and water by 76%. The QR code guides the user in the return with a map and prepaid label, making it as easy as sending a postcard. Once returned, the packaging is sanitized and put back into circulation. In addition to strengthening customer loyalty, this project offers a concrete contribution to sustainability in fashion. Movopack was awarded 5 thousand euros.
Tailoor received support from Unicredit Start Lab. The phygital platform, based on AI and 3D technology, is designed to revolutionize the personalization of experiences and product configuration. Thanks to its innovative solutions, it allows the creation of Made to Order and Made to Measure items, offering a customized, exclusive, and sustainable shopping experience.
"Rewarding the best fashion-tech startups through the e-P Summit Innovation Award and the support of UniCredit Start Lab means investing concretely in the future of the fashion and creativity industry," said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine. "These initiatives generate a dual value: on the one hand, they stimulate the innovation ecosystem, on the other, they allow us to intercept and accelerate those technological solutions that will have a real impact on the entire system. Pitti Immagine aims to contribute to the growth of an increasingly competitive, responsible, and open-to-change sector.”
"UniCredit is at the forefront of supporting the growth of the Italian production system," added Francesca Perrone, head of ESG & Start Lab Italy at UniCredit, main partner of Pitti Immagine. "A commitment that includes supporting the development of new entrepreneurial ideas. We are proud to have also actively participated in the 2025 edition of the Innovation Call."
The Summit’s Scientific Committee had previously selected 12 fashion-tech startups, chosen for their ability to propose innovative solutions in strategic areas such as content creation, intelligent waste management, resale, rental and repair, traceability, environmental impact measurement, and the evolution of customer experience.
