Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/26 is set to take place from July 7 to 10, 2025. The week will open with Schiaparelli, showcasing designs by Daniel Roseberry, and conclude with a presentation by Germanier. Highlights include Glenn Martens’ debut as creative director at Maison Margiela and Demna’s final collection for Balenciaga, marking the end of his tenure with the house.

Another highly anticipated event of this upcoming haute couture week is related to Demna’s farewell show as creative director of Balenciaga. The project of haute couture was revived in 2021 by the Georgian creative, after a 50-year absence from the catwalks (the last couture show dates back to 1968, shortly before the maison was closed by Cristóbal Balenciaga). As is known, this will be the last collection signed by the designer before he arrives at the creative helm of Gucci, whose debut is expected next September. In his place, Kering has recently appointed the Italian designer Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Dior will not present its collection due to the appointment of Jonathan Anderson, who has been the creative director of the menswear, womenswear, and haute couture lines. Anderson replaces Maria Grazia Chiuri, who presented her last cruise collection in Rome, which also included 31 haute couture pieces.

Also, Jean Paul Gaultier will not participate in the high fashion shows. The appointment of Duran Lantink as creative director confirms a pause and the abandonment of the guest designer formula. Lantink, winner of the Woolmark Prize 2025, will present his first ready-to-wear collection for Jean Paul Gaultier, acquired by Barcelona-based beauty and fashion firm Puig in 2011, in September and will debut in couture in January 2026.

The haute couture week will be kicked off by Schiaparelli and Daniel Roseberry's creations, while Germanier will close the event. The calendar includes established names such as Giambattista Valli, Chanel (the debut of Matthieu Blazy at the helm of the French maison will be held in September with ready-to-wear), Giorgio Armani Privé, Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, and Viktor&Rolf; in addition to, among others, Robert Wun, the Hong Kong-born London-based fashion designer; Rami Al Ali, who has become the first Syrian to join the prestigious haute couture calendar in Paris; and Ardazaei, founded by Swedish-Iranian designer Bahareh Ardakani in 2018.
