The September 2025 edition of Maison&Objet, the second annual appointment of the international trade fair dedicated to the world of design living, is set to showcase a new generation of designers, giving a new perspective on the future of interiors and lifestyle. For its September 2025 edition, taking place from September 04 to 08, 2025, Maison&Objet entrusts its artistic direction to Amélie Pichard, a bold and unclassifiable designer. She envisions Welcome Home, a living, boundary-free installation that celebrates creative freedom and the accessibility of design.

In September 2025, Maison & Objet will call upon Hall Haus to take charge of the artistic direction of the new Design District, an incubator of creative energies celebrating emerging design and future trends. With this project, the collective has the opportunity to highlight emerging talents and celebrate boldness and experimentation in design, thanks to its innovative and sustainable approach, blending culture, experience, and functionality. The Design District is an observatory of tomorrow's trends, an incubator of creative energies. In collaboration with Paris Design Week Factory, it celebrates boldness and experimentation, spotlighting young designers, Future On Stage, Rising Talent Awards, Maison&Objet Factory, Accor Design Awards, and 60 exclusive new guard brands. These curated areas provide young companies with strategic visibility and professional support, helping them connect with buyers, distributors, and industry influencers from around the world.

The Rising Talent Awards this year turn the spotlight on a new generation of German designers whose work challenges conventions and proposes new ways of living with objects. They are 7 emerging designers rewriting the rules of contemporary creation. From biocement and recycled paper to modular systems and sculptural narratives, these talents are redefining the future of design at the crossroads of craft, sustainability, and technological experimentation. The selected designers are Friedrich Gerlach, transforming waste into biocement-based creations via 3D printing; Marie Luise Stein, exploring modularity and unconventional uses of everyday objects; Haus Otto, a duo dissecting ecological cycles and production systems; Studio Œ, crafting tactile narratives rooted in the raw essence of materials; Moritz Walter, rethinking lighting and energy through sustainable, functional design; Gerlach Heilig, investigating memory and place through research-led objects. In the Craft category by Ateliers d'Art de France, there is Gabriel Tarmassi, reviving wood through a poetic, sculptural, and contemporary lens.

For its 6th edition, Future On Stage becomes an annual event and joins the Design District, Maison&Objet’s new incubator of creative energy. An industry jury has carefully selected three winners, who will showcase their innovations in a space entirely dedicated to up-and-coming talent. Among them is Drobe from Oslo, founded by Milla Lack, revolutionizing urban travel with a suitcase that unfolds into a wardrobe. Yüssée, a Parisian brand by Yuan Yuan and Cédric Guennoc, offers Immersive culinary creations. Finally, Hilo, from Monaco, was founded by Adeline Michelotti, who is redefining furniture through modular shelves with no drilling.

The Factory spaces represent thematic zones spread across several halls, designed to spotlight young, up-and-coming brands in design, home decor, lifestyle, and craftsmanship, and showcasing over 40 new brands. This edition, Paris Design Week Factory offers six former participants a B2B space within the Design District, while the special spot reserved for "La Ville de Paris" highlights local talents awarded the prestigious "Fabriqué à Paris" label. From Sœur & Mer’s ocean-inspired recycled metal jewelry to Atelier Penso’s upcycled leather goods and Possery’s sustainable fashion, these brands embody a commitment to local, ethical, and artisanal production. The initiative aims to bring manufacturing back to the heart of the city and celebrate Parisian craftsmanship.
