Tokyo Fashion Award is a new type of fashion prize that will select 8 fashion brands from Tokyo that have the potential to grow in the international market and support their overseas expansion. The initiative aims to bring fashion designers from Tokyo into the world by supporting their business continuously. The selected 8 designers will open their own showroom "showroom.tokyo" during the Paris fashion week and hold business meetings with famous buyers to expand business worldwide.

The Tokyo Fashion Award 2026 judges include domestic jurors such as Tomoyuki Hibino, Risako Genno, Akira Mukuta, Kouhei Hashimoto, Daiki Nakane, Shoko Sawanoi, Shinsaku Masuda, Tomomi Asako, Issei Koyama, and Yoshiro Kawasaki, as well as international jurors Nickelson Wooster, Sarah Andelman, Changyong Lee, and June Moon.

The Tokyo Fashion Award 2025 winners are: for women's collections, HATRA (Keisuke Nagami), RIV NOBUHIKO (River Garam Jang & Nobuhiko Kohama), SATORU SASAKI (Satoru Sasaki), and TAN (Aki Murakami); for men's collections, KANEMASA PHIL. (Kengo Baba), paratrait (Shunta Sakai), Tamme (Tatsuya Tamada), and tokio (Tokio Kimura). These designers were awarded for their innovative and compelling collections.
