Milan Women's Fashion Week will be staged in memory of Giorgio Armani. "His creative, entrepreneurial, and human teachings are precious in these times of transformation for fashion, when vision, quality, and coherence are the essential values," said the statement of Camera Moda Italiana.

Organized with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Municipality of Milan, the Milano Fashion Week Women’s Collection, running from September 23 to 29, 2025, is offering 171 appointments, including 54 physical and 4 digital fashion shows, 78 presentations, 7 presentations by appointment, and 30 other events.

The September edition will be featuring the debut of numerous creative directors, including Louise Trotter at Bottega Veneta and Simone Bellotti at Jil Sander. Gucci will be revealing the first collection by its art director, Demna, in a private event on September 23. For Versace, Dario Vitale will be presenting the collection with an event.

Brands Dhruv Kapoor and Pierre-Louis Mascia will appear for the first time with a show on the women’s collection calendar. The London-based brand Knwls, founded by Knowles, Arsenault, and Sa Su Phi, will be appearing for the first time on the fashion show calendar.

The newcomers to the digital show calendar are Lorenzo Sala’s Italian brand Mein.Corp and Nadya Dzyak, a Ukrainian brand founded in 2008 that has been on the London Fashion Week calendar in recent years, and Zenam, are already on the Men’s Collection calendar. Making a comeback to the fashion show calendar are Boss, Calaterra, Phan Dang Hoang, Stella Jean, and The Attico. Brands featuring for the first time on the presentations calendar include: Davii, Daizy Shely, Forte_Forte, Henri Paris, Îacaré, JW Anderson, also with an event, Kasai, Moja Rowa, one of the brands that are beneficiaries of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant, Nissa, Pé de Chumpo, Saman Loira, which put on a digital show at the February edition, Seafarer, Simon Cracker, featured for the first time on the women’s calendar; Vespa, Victor Hart, featured for the first time on the women’s calendar.

Further, Alessandro Enriquez will be giving a presentation in collaboration with Rossella Jardini on September 24. Trussardi will celebrate the start of a new chapter with a special event. Returning to the presentations calendar are Agnona, Paciotti, and Pucci.

This edition will be celebrating some important anniversaries. Giorgio Armani, who will be closing the shows on Sunday, September 28, will celebrate the brand’s first 50 years. Laura Biagiotti will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their Foundation. La Doublej and Flower Mountain will be celebrating their 10th anniversaries, while Calcaterra is celebrating their 10th anniversary on the calendar.

There will also be the 3rd edition of the Premio Maestri d’Eccellenza, an awards event addressing Italy’s most talented artisans, and organized by LVMH, Confartigianato Imprese, CNMI, and Thélios. On September 24, there will be a collective show - Floating Wefts Orchid Pavilion - in which a selection of emerging Chinese brands based in Keqiao (Xunruo, Roseocean, Pinhui, and Uncoded) will show their collections. This show is being organized under an international project in collaboration with CNMI. The third annual Black Carpet Awards will also be held at the Teatro Manzoni. Afro Fashion Association will present "Afroditis: Creative Salon Series." a celebration of the afro-descendant and multiethnic creative spirit, guardian of cultural heritage and builder of the future. There will be a preview of the fashion collections of three BIPOC designers in an artistic and multisensory setting, also including an art exhibition. The CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2025 will be held. This event is put on by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in collaboration with the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion and with support from the Municipality of Milan. One of the awards is the Bicester Collection Award for Emerging Designers. Bicester Collection is thus carrying forward its support for creativity and emerging talents in the world of fashion by renewing its partnership with CNMI for the 6th year. The 11th edition of Milano Moda Graduate will be held at midday on Sunday, September 28, addressing students at Italy’s main fashion schools.
