ApritiModa returns, now in its ninth edition, the event that will open the doors of some of the most iconic and evocative locations in Italian fashion on October 25 and 26. Created by journalist Cinzia Sasso, the event will showcase the heritage of Made in Italy.

Companies, laboratories, museums, and ateliers will open their doors for free guided tours and meetings with stylists, artisans, and craftsmen. "ApritiModa isn't just a visit," said Cinzia Sasso, "but an experience that helps you discover and love an intangible heritage of knowledge, techniques, and creativity. A journey into the creative soul of our country, a chance to discover that behind every dress, every accessory, every fabric lies a world of passion, history, and vision. An initiative that unites the public, businesses, and institutions to celebrate and promote the authenticity and quality of Made in Italy throughout the world."

Among the approximately one hundred participating companies, there will be major fashion houses, such as Armani, Brunello Cucinelli, Fendi, Missoni, and Zegna, in addition to other entries, including Antonio Riva in Garlate, in the province of Lecco; the tailoring shop of Ettore Bilotta, the designer of the most elegant airlines in the world, based in Piacenza. Under the porticoes of Santarcangelo di Romagna, we encounter Lavs, the visionary universe of Filippo Sorcinelli, the artist who designed the papal robes. For the first time, he reveals the secret places where masterpieces of spirituality and style are born. Nestled in the Ossola Valley, the Manifattura Domodossola will present the excellence of a long family history. In Milan's Lambrate neighborhood, the Ilariusss atelier is a laboratory where four female hands transform fabric into sculptural hats and headpieces that have conquered catwalks and international icons, from Margot Robbie at the Barbie premiere to Amal Clooney at the Vatican, Malika Ayane, and Farida Khelfa. In Naples, cufflink master Barbarulo will inaugurate the public viewing of his extraordinary collection of unique and antique pieces with ApritiModa.

Finally, for a tribute to Giorgio Armani, who supported ApritiModa since its first edition, Armani Silos will open its doors for an exclusive visit to the Armani Privé exhibition.

The collaboration between Naba, the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, and ApritiModa continues. For this ninth edition, the competition features a contest, launched for Academy students in conjunction with the Consortium for the Protection of Doc Prosecco. The competition involves the creation of graphics for neck warmers for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
