La Galerie de l'instant in Paris chose the unconventional fascination Vanessa Paradis as the subject of its next exhibition titled “Paradissime”, available from October 15, 2025, to January 14, 2026. As she returns soon with a new album, the eighth in her discography, the singer, who is also an actress, continues to shape her iconic status.
The exhibition, hosted in the gallery's spaces at 46 rue de Poitou, will retrace the career of the French model and artist through eight photographs, from Paolo Roversi, who immortalized her angelic features in sublime black-and-white portraits, to Ellen von Unwerth, a fashion photographer, through sensual images, and Kate Barry. "Since her debut at the age of 14, in 1987, with the song 'Joe le taxi,' Vanessa Paradis has entered our lives and become part of the contemporary cultural landscape, both in music, film, and fashion," said Julia Gragnon, founder of the gallery in the Marais. "A muse to numerous musicians and directors, her unique photogenic nature has inspired the greatest photographers, starting with Jean-Baptiste Mondino, when in 1990 she collaborated with Serge Gainsbourg on the song "Tandem" and the video that accompanied its release."
The event also showcases the work of Catherine Cabrol (she became famous on the set of the film La Fille sur le pont, by Patrice Leconte), Antoine Legrand, Bruce Weber, Jean-Baptiste Mondino and Claude Gassian, who followed her on the tour for her album Natural High before becoming one of his loyal collaborators, testifying to his life on tour and the emotions shared with the public.
