The British Fashion Council announced that Delphine Arnault will receive a Special Recognition Award for her exceptional contribution to the global fashion industry at The Fashion Awards 2025. The ceremony will take place on Monday, December 1, at the Royal Albert Hall, London. TFA is a vital fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, spotlighting the cultural power of fashion, its most iconic moments, and the visionary talents pushing creative boundaries and redefining the industry.

The Special Recognition Award will honour Arnault’s outstanding contribution to the fashion industry and longstanding commitment to championing emerging talent. A passionate advocate for the next generation of designers, Arnault spearheaded the launch of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers in 2014, now one of the most prestigious international platforms for nurturing new voices. Past winners include Marques’Almeida, Nensi Dojaka, Setchu, S.S.Daley, and Wales Bonner.

Her commitment to education and access is also reflected in Dior Men’s support of the BFC Foundation MA Scholarship, which funds a UK-based menswear design student every two years. The scholarship covers tuition fees and contributes to living costs, while also offering the recipient one-on-one mentorship from the Dior Men's design team, providing invaluable insight and guidance.

Arnault currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture, a role she assumed in 2023. She began her career at McKinsey before joining the John Galliano brand in 2000 to lead business development. A year later, she moved to Christian Dior Couture as commercial director, before being appointed deputy managing director in 2008. During her tenure, she helped guide Dior through one of its most commercially and creatively successful periods, playing a key role in the expansion of its leather goods and accessories business. In 2013, Arnault was appointed executive vice president of Louis Vuitton, where she oversaw product-related activities. She is a member of the LVMH board of directors and the executive committee.

“I am truly honoured to receive this emblematic award, which highlights the importance of supporting young talents who will define the fashion and creativity of tomorrow,” said Delphine Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer, Christian Dior Couture.
