Following the debut of its first Designer Wholesale Showroom during Riyadh Fashion Week, which brought together around 50 Saudi and international designers, trade show White Milano has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Fashion Commission. The collaboration is designed to make a significant contribution to the development of national talent and enrich the Kingdom’s creative sector.
"We are delighted to announce the new agreement signed with the Saudi Fashion Commission, an entity of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture," said Brenda Bellei, ceo of M.Seventy and The Circle Platform.sa (a Saudi legal entity), the two companies that respectively organise the White Milano and White Riyadh trade shows. "With our strong international experience in the fashion industry and our well-established network, we have brought our know-how to Saudi Arabia, starting with the organisation of the official showroom during Riyadh Fashion Week, held from October 16 to 21, 2025. This project was designed to promote creative talent through a structured strategy of global promotion and positioning."
The partnership will offer Saudi designers access to White Milano's international platforms and facilitate creative and cultural exchange through joint events and collaborations. Mentorship programmes, workshops, and training courses will also be launched to support Saudi talent and share international best practices in areas such as design, branding, and sustainability. The collaboration will allow brands to access previously untapped channels, crucial for establishing themselves in new markets. In turn, it will help bring Saudi designers to the international stage, offering them a new global platform.
"This partnership with White Milano reflects our ongoing commitment to building platforms that showcase local talent, broaden international collaborations, and enrich the creative economy," stated Burak Cakmak, ceo of the Saudi Fashion Commission. "By bringing White Milano's first international showroom to Riyadh, the Commission has reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for innovation, exchange, and opportunity, ensuring that Saudi fashion continues to thrive on the world stage."
In 2020, under the leadership of Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, the Saudi Ministry of Culture established The Fashion Commission, an organisation that is now led by chief executive, Burak Cakmak, aimed at developing and supporting the Kingdom’s fashion sector. The Fashion Commission launched important initiatives such as the Saudi 100 Brands, an incubator platform to support local fashion companies, brands, and designers, as well as promote them globally.
