On November 27, the French Fashion Institute will bring together professionals from the textile, fashion, and luxury sectors for Fashion Reboot, an annual conference dedicated to the major challenges in the fashion and luxury industry. In a constantly changing economic, technological, and geopolitical context, this new edition will bring together leaders, observers, and experts to offer insights into the major transformations reshaping the sector's future.

The event, hosted by IFM professor Lucas Delattre, will take place on rue Mazarine in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, opening with a presentation by Xavier Romatet, the general director of the French Fashion Institute. The morning program will explore the major economic and geopolitical upheavals. Alain Frachon, columnist for Le Monde, will examine the new era of lockdowns impacting global fashion. Denis Ferrand, general director of Rexecode, will analyze the current economic tensions.

Léo Dentant, founder of Henny, will present a panel discussion titled"The New Wave of Streetwear: The Uniform of a Generation?", followed by presentations on global distribution in department stores, the rise of new market players, and an assessment of French consumer behavior by Agnès Crozet and Boris Descarrega of L'ObSoCo.

The afternoon will focus on technological transformations and environmental issues. Students from the Master in Management of Fashion and Luxury will present their documentary "Faire Core," followed by a discussion on the use of artificial intelligence in fashion, illustrated by the example of Etam with its ceo, Laurent Milchior.

Sustainability will also be central to the discussions. Dominique Jacomet and Caroline Ardelet will discuss EU regulations and environmental labeling. Finally, the day will conclude with a fashion show and exhibitions with Émilie Hammen and Benjamin Simmenauer, and the Kiabi's resilient model, presented by its president, Élisabeth Cunin.
