The 102nd edition of Italian trade show Pitti Immagine Bimbo will take place on Wednesday, 21, and Thursday, 22 January 2026, on the Piano Attico of the Central Pavilion at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence (with a dedicated entrance via Porta Faenza) and will showcase around 150 Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collections, over 65% of which are international. Leading kids' wear names are confirmed, alongside a selection of new brands, projects, and special features.

Concurrently, at the Fortezza, with a dedicated exhibition space, Pitti Filati will be held. This trade show showcases the excellence of international yarns and knitwear, with companies and visitors having exclusive access. Children's wear brands and designers will also have the opportunity to visit Pitti Filati and the Spazio Ricerca to draw inspiration for the upcoming seasons.

“Next January’s event is important for Pitti Bimbo, because it confirms and consolidates the direction we have set for the show, aligning it with the many profound transformations in the world of children’s fashion," said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine. "The most advanced trends in design and materials, the new sensibilities of young consumers- who are increasingly driving purchasing behaviour- the growing importance of lifestyle, a research-driven attitude as a shared entrepreneurial value, the blurring of rigid boundaries between commercial, communication and PR activities… these are the elements that define the show’s current identity, together with meticulous work with the best international retailers, thanks to collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).”

“Amid a difficult economic situation, we're paying something in terms of the number of participants (companies' decisions are increasingly made closer to the deadlines, and I believe we should be around 85-90% of collections from previous editions), but we're also raising the quality of the offering with a series of highly prestigious new entries with market presence. I'm sure the companies will work well, calmly, and concretely,” added Antonio Cristaudo, commercial director of Pitti Immagine.

Motion is the editorial theme of Pitti Immagine’s winter shows, inspiring movement, change, and evolution. The protagonist of the story and the campaign by Amedeo Piccione is the penguin Pitt, who, oddly, feels cold and so decides to set off on a long journey of exploration, backpack on his shoulders, hat on his head, and skis on his feet, leaving the ice alone but full of hope. His final destination, of course, will be Pitti Bimbo.

"In November, we conducted a true European roadshow," said Lisa Chiari, Giuliana Parabiago, and Valeria Santoni, members of the Pitti Bimbo project team, along with Tiziana Bellandi from the buyer's office, "which visited Naples, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, London, and now Milan. On these occasions, we presented new features for the next edition and, at the same time, gathered observations, suggestions, and impressions. The goal is to maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with Pitti Bimbo exhibitors, buyers, and journalists, all present side by side. This proximity to the market and to the protagonists of kids' wear is fundamental to laying the foundations for Pitti Bimbo’s new course: we want to shape it together with companies and retailers, scouting for new brands and confirming the show's most established brands and groups, with whom we work to energize and support the production and commercial sectors."

At Pitti Bimbo 102, the New Edit space will debut. It's a new contemporary project including a dedicated area in partnership with Bobo Choses, the Spanish brand that in recent years has fused modern design culture with high-quality manufacturing and a conscious focus on sustainability, also achieving commercial success. Piazza Pirouette, with its stories and inventions curated by Katie Kendrick, a special area featuring ten brands and a fashion show, has confirmed its presence for its second season. Finally, also returning are The Family Circle, the lifestyle brand from Hamburg's marketplace founded by Nadine Jung, renowned for its carefully curated selection of accessories and lifestyle objects; and The Kid's Lab, featuring the most sought-after names.
