The Pitti Immagine events dedicated to kidswear and yarns are ready to start, with Pitti Bimbo 102 scheduled from January 21 to 22 and Pitti Filati from January 21 to 23 at Fortezza da Basso in Florence. The collections are presented on the Top Floor with a layout designed to foster relations between brands and buyers, creating an engaging sequence of fashion, lifestyle, creativity, and networking opportunities.

"The January event is important for Pitti Bimbo because it confirms and consolidates the approach we've given the show to align it with the many profound transformations in the world of children's fashion," explained Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine. "The most advanced trends in terms of design and materials, the new sensitivities of young consumers, who are increasingly guiding their purchasing practices, the growing importance of the lifestyle dimension, the attitude to research as a value and a widespread entrepreneurial principle, the overcoming of rigid boundaries between commercial, communication, and public relations actions... these are the elements that characterize the current face of the show, along with extensive work on and with the best international retailers, thanks to the collaboration with the ICE Agency."

The 102nd edition of Pitti Immagine Bimbo is taking place on the Top Floor of the Central Pavilion and will present approximately 150 Fall/Winter 2026-27 collections, over 65% of which are international. With the “Motion” theme of the Pitti Immagine winter shows, featuring the friendly penguin Pitt, the protagonist of the campaign created by Amedeo Piccione, the show will give space to big names and young brands.

After making its debut last June, Piazza Pirouette returns to Pitti Bimbo 102 and transforms into a magical winter tale, curated by the creative powerhouse Katie Kendrick, to offer an exciting space for connection and interaction, presenting the new collections from brands such as Goldie + Ace, Sticky Lemon, Paade Mode, Halcyon Nights, and Bundgaard. At its center, there will also be a new showcase where buyers can explore a selection of finely crafted, ready-to-order products from brands like Blue Francis, Moitoinous, Forivor, and more.

The Family Circle, the marketplace founded by Nadine Jung in Hamburg, presents a selection of brands offering wooden toys, uniquely designed kids’ room décor, colorful accessories, and charming decorations. The featured brands are 2StoriesKids, Alwero, Bygge, FabFabStickers, Holzwald, Igelkind, Kiko + &gg, Little Who, and Organicera. In addition to the individual stands along the Pitti Bimbo exhibition route, a space curated by The Family Circle will host a collective display area dedicated to the latest trends, expanding the selection of brands with new names, including Ambosstoys, Cosy Roots, Routinchen, The Momence Club, and Yogitier.

Gioconaturalmente, Italy’s leading distributor of brands specializing in kids & family lifestyle offerings, presents at Pitti Bimbo 102 a carefully curated selection of high-quality labels, designed to accompany children as they grow and to fulfill their wishes, such as Hoppstar, Kids’ Concept, Oli&Carol, Play&Go, Petit Jour Paris / Maison Petit Jour, Quut, Scoot&Ride, Wild&Soft, Egmont Toys, We are Gommu, and Trixie.

Pitti Filati is showcasing 103 international yarn and knitwear companies to present their offerings for SS 2027. Specifically, there are 67 exhibitors in the Yarn area (9 of which are from abroad: UK, Japan, Turkey, China, Peru); 21 companies in the CustomEasy area (5 from abroad: Japan, Romania, China); 10 exhibitors in the KnitClub area (3 from abroad: Hong Kong, Japan, United States); and 5 companies in the Institutional Area (one from Australia).

The contest dedicated to the world of knitwear by Feel the Yarn returns for its 17th edition. Students from leading international fashion schools take part in Feel the Contest 2026 – Master Edition, alongside new designers who completed their studies no more than two years ago. The moodboards of 34 contestants, paired with 34 spinning mills from the Feel the Yarn group and selected from over 150 applications, are showcased at Pitti Filati 98 at the FTY stand. Throughout the event, a garment created with Filivivi yarns by Melina Shibli, winner of last edition’s Social Award, is also on display.

Promoted by the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, with UniCredit as Main Partner and in collaboration with Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS and Polimoda as Educational Partners, CFMI Academy 2026 is confirmed as a project focused on the development of entrepreneurship. It is aimed at students from Italian Fashion Design academies and, starting this year, also at those who have already completed their studies. On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the second day of Pitti Filati, a workshop featuring the six newly selected projects of this edition will take place at the Spazio Carra at the Fortezza da Basso.
