From the 24th of May to the 24th of February, Louvre presents at the court Puget du Louvre the artworks of Jean-Michel Othoniel.

Among the masterpieces of the garden statues of the 17th and 18th centuries, will take place an installation composed of six unpublished paintings in ink on gold leaves. To create these paintings, the artist was inspired by the rose painted by Rubens in The Marriage of Mary of Medici and Henry IV (1621-1625). This rose was chosen by the artist to become the iconic flower of the museum.

By this installation, Othoniel invites visitors to a dreamlike walk combining sculptures, herbarium, paintings and garden.
