"Naomi" is the first exhibition of its kind exploring the extraordinary career of fashion model Naomi Campbell. Through the work of leading global designers and photographers, London's V&A Museum celebrates her creative collaborations, activism, and far-reaching cultural impact.
Naomi's career began at an early age; she was scouted in Covent Garden at 15 years old, and a few years later she was the first Black model to feature on the cover of Paris Vogue at 18 years old in 1988. She was later branded one of the original supermodels of the 1990s, alongside contemporaries such as Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer.
The "Naomi" exhibition features around 100 looks worn by Campbell throughout her 40-year career, including pieces from her extensive wardrobe. Designs from Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaïa, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Virgil Abloh, Vivienne Westwood, and many others will feature in the exhibition, as well as images captured by leading photographers such as Steven Meisel and Tim Walker.
