| Venice Design Week (VDW) encompasses many events that take place in Venice from the 12th to the 20th of October 2019. Venice Design Week cooperates with Museums and many institutions in town to coordinate the week of design in Venice. Designers and companies from all over the world are invited to take part in exhibitions, competitions, and special events. Visitors to the Venice Design Week can visit exhibitions of contemporary design and at the same time explore the hidden side of Venice, discovering how ancient objects were designed and decorated.
