ITALY / Milan: Super on stage at The Mall with 143 brands

Milan turns the spotlights on the ninth edition of Super.
The fair dedicated to women’s accessories and prêt-à-porter, organized by Pitti Immagine, on stage from 25 to 27 February, confirms the new location of The Mall in Porta Nuova thanks to the collaboration with Cnmi, and aims to emergent talents and digital with a format based on exclusivity and research. The revamped layout with furnishings signed by the Andrea Caputo’s architecture and design studio occupies an area of around 4,200 square meters with 143 brands of which the 50% are from abroad and a product offer perfectly balanced between accessories and clothing.

“We have to focus on an innovative fashion selection dedicated to the most demanding international buyers, projecting ourselves towards the fashion of the future”, said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine.

Many highlights of this edition:

-Paula Cademartori and N°21 collections in collaboration with Kartell

-the Super Talents New Countries To Watch section that plays up young designers from emergent countries, selected in collaboration with Sara Maino and Vogue Talents: Alexander Arutyunov (Russia), Inês Torcato (Portogallo), Jirawat Thamrongkittikul (Thailandia), Julia Seemann (Svizzera), Kinabuti (Nigeria), Little Shilpa (India), Loh (Russia), Neous (Regno Unito), Percy Lau (Cina), Takara Wong (Thailandia).

-More Dash: Eye On The East scouting project.
Pitti Immagine in collaboration with More Dash of Daria Shapovalova, PR agency and collective showroom partner of Modem, has a particular attention to the realities in Eastern Europe: AGNE KUZMICKAITE (Lituania), ANOUKI (Georgia), ELENA BURBA (Ucraina), FLOW the Label (Ucraina), GIBSH (Ucraina), JIRI KALFAR (Rep. Ceca), Naya Rea (Russia), Scenarium (Russia), Tamar (Georgia), Tatman (Ucraina).

-The vintage of Ateliers & Repairs with an installation curated by Maurizio Donadi.

-The Digit Bar special area devoted to digital start ups: BRAND LAND, I LIVE YOU, LISTUPP, POP UP MOB, ROIALTY, SALESOAR and STENTLE.

-Another Vision project by Alessandro Enriquez: a shooting session by Louis Philippe De Gagoue starring Super’s collections.
