Art Rotterdam has enjoyed the hospitality of the Cruise Terminal for many years. But for the 15th edition of Art Rotterdam, from 6-9 February 2014, we are excited to announce that we are moving to the Van Nellefabriek in Rotterdam. The Van Nellefabriek is an icon of post WW I modern architecture and is nominated to be listed on the Unesco World Heritage List.

In 2014 both the New Art Section and Art Rotterdam Projections will again be important components of the fair. Further, the video fair Projections will this year be integrated entirely.

The first edition of Art Rotterdam Projections took in 2013 place in the free space LP2 in the Las Palmas building, on the opposite of the Cruise Terminal. Here were videos presented in a worldwide unique, open and interactive setting. The 1200 m2 of LP2 was for this occasion totally darkened and on large projection screens 19 international galleries presented a video work of an upcoming or more renowned artist.

Art Rotterdam Projections was a huge succes and have been praised by press and public.

In 2014 the videosection Projections will be integrated entirely in the artfair in the Van Nellefabriek.
