"KYOTO CONTEMPORARY"
Les Ateliers de Paris’ Gallery hosts the ancestral knowledge of the city of Kyoto associated with talented Parisian designers and presents a selection of exceptional objects, result of a dynamic and creative collaboration between the two cities.
French designers : Laurent Corio Studio Saint Antoine, Collective Prémices Louise Testa, Denovembre, Vivid Black, Anais Gauthier.
Japanese art craftmen: KUMAGAI-SW (ceramic), KUROKASHI (textiles, kimonos) OMIYA (textiles, kimonos) NAKANO-ISUKE (accessories) ISUKE (wood and lacquer). Takesada SHOTEN (bamboo), Nishimura Yuzen CHOKOKU (Katagami) Daitou SHINGU KOGYO (nightwear) YOSHIHA YOHEY (metal)

"SYSTEM"
A l’initiative de Walter Knoll, le showroom Moda International accueille Systems, une exposition hommage au design de Braun, la marque iconique des années 60 portée par Dieter Rams. 34 designers graphiques (Studio Job, Experimental Jetset, …) ont été invités à retranscrire leur vision de l’approche systématique du mythe allemand dont Walter Knoll partage et poursuit les valeurs.
Le commissariat de l’exposition initialement présentée à Londres fin 2013 est assuré par das programm
