As the first temporary thematic exhibition since the opening of the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris in October 2017, “Yves Saint Laurent: Dreams of the Orient” will bring together approximately fifty haute couture designs inspired by India, China and Japan. These pieces from the collection of the Museum will be displayed in dialogue with Asian artworks borrowed from the Musée national des arts asiatiques - Guimet and private collectors.

Featuring a teddy bear and icons of silver screen; the fashion police and nights at the Palace ; dance-offs between sapeurs and voguers, music, lights and of cours, dozens of legendary looks, the Fashion Freak Show goes further than merely recounting the 1001 lives of fashion's eternal enfant terrible, Jean Paul Gaultier .

This time at Jumble Showroom, they are thrilled to present a collection of various Japanese earthenware, including "Yachimun" the Okinawan pottery.
All products can be purchased on site. At the opening reception on December 18th, we will serve Japanese Sake as well. We look forward to your kind visit to the show.
In Japan, there has been a history of living miscellaneous goods such as pottery and porcelain in each region for a long time. There are various patterns and designs with different usage and styles depending on the area. Among them, "Japan pottery" collected from various studio such as popular Ryukyu (Okinawa), Gunma, Mashiko and Tokyo will be introduced. Make Japanese fine-grained things, please look at delicate manual work and feel it.
