The Fashion Prize of Tokyo Selects 1 designer that is already known internationally each year and support their fashion show in Paris. It is a new type of project that supports the brand 1 step further than the Tokyo Fashion Award project. The 5th prized designer Tomo Koizumi /Mr.Tomotaka Koizumi will be fashion shows and showrooms for 2 seasons in Paris and will hold an event at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo FW 2023 supported by Fashion Prize of Tokyo.

The exhibition where you can enjoy art and fashion. French artist Aurélie Mathigot who specializes ceramics, crochet and pictures embroidered on the photographs taken by herself. Having the experiences of the co-productions with Comme des Garçons and Astier de Villatte, she is currently working with Japanese brands. We will exhibit and sell her original works and the products co-produced with N’enuphar at their own store “Tanagocolotus” in Shibuya Parco.

The "by R" project aims to support Japanese fashion designers. The initiative was emerged from Rakuten’s passion for spreading the attraction of Japanese fashion culture globally by providing talented Japanese fashion designers with various opportunities.
During Rakuten Fashion Week, Rakuten supports brands in diverse measures, such as sponsoring brands’ fashion show and promoting their products through e-commerce.

Collections by Japanese designers of the future

A collection of works by students who will create the future of fashion.
A fashion show project in which all fashion schools in Japan participate, which has been scaled up each time since 2020. Selected works from among the excellent works produced by the students will be presented in a show format. Keep an eye on the young talents who will create the fashion of the future. The works shown at the show will be displayed at Marcube on the 1st floor of the Marunouchi Building from the next day.

The life story of world-renowned designer Jean Paul Gaultier! A luxurious and glamorous fashion entertainment with more than 200 pieces of haute couture to the music featuring David Bowie and Nile Rodgers' "Le Freak". The world tour will kick off in London in July 2022. In collaboration with Tcs, the performers will be in Japan to perform special versions of the show in the runways of the streets of Ginza, Marunouchi, Shibuya and Nihonbashi. The streets will be decorated with gorgeous graphics.
