For the FW25/26 collection, Maria Calderara focuses on the research of the artist Piero Manzoni.

"Through #Touch, I fell into Manzoni's light-hearted radicality, I became so passionate about it that I had to redefine the meaning of every single daily gesture, emptying it of useless frills," said Maria Calderara.

The new collection, titled #U_Touch2, seems to respond to the first by completing it through the analysis of further elements of the work of the great Italian master.

Inside Spazio Maria Calderara, a performer model will move around the showroom interacting with elements that are part of everyday life and Manzoni's poetics.

During the performance, 4 historical videos with Piero Manzoni will be broadcast on a monitor, three of them are preserved at the Istituto Luce Cinecittà Historical Archive in Rome and one at the Piero Manzoni Foundation. The four videos were shot by the film newspaper Sedi (Società Editrice Documentari Italiani) to be shown in cinemas before the movies. These are the titles: Rubber Balls (newspaper film n. 1020, 1959), The Long Lines (newspaper film n. 1021, 1959), and Sculptures to Eat (film newspaper n. 1129, 1960). Living sculptures (newspaper film n.1171, 1961).
