For Autumn/Winter 2026 Shanghai Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz once again returns as the official designated partner. The collaboration coincides with several important milestones for the brand: the 140th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz, 30 years of involvement in fashion, and 40 years in the Chinese market. To celebrate the occasion, Mercedes-Benz will launch a special pop-up "Crush On Wings" Mercedes-Benz x AW2026 SHFW, creating a dialogue between automotive design and fashion across time and disciplines.

The exhibition’s signature Ulio Sustainability Space collaborates with Sorona® bio-based materials and the debut of Abacell natural banana fiber yarn, alongside nine designer brands focused on sustainability. The inaugural New Wave Fashion Awards, organized by the Shanghai Fashion Designers Association, launches its final competition during this season’s Shanghai Fashion Week. Six finalist designers will create independent creative spaces across major city landmarks, including Xintiandi Style II House of H&M, K11 Art Mall, Somekh Building, Gibb, Livingston & Co. Building and Film Park. Through multidimensional expression encompassing product design, aesthetics, spatial design, narrative, and brand structure, the finalists will present fully realized creative systems to both an international professional jury and a public jury. The final winners will be announced at the award ceremony on March 30th.

Boarding Pass is a program conceived by Promas to promote French creative brands on the international fashion scene. It returns for its second edition with a dedicated focus on the Chinese market, positioning Shanghai as a strategic meeting point between contemporary French design talent and one of the world’s most dynamic fashion economies. Showroomlist by PROMAS enables French creative fashion brands to access preferential, pre‑negotiated conditions with international sales showrooms - in the United States, across Asia, and particularly in key destinations such as Tokyo, Seoul, and Taipei. The new Shanghai edition will take place from March 27th to March 31st in a centrally located showroom situated in one of the city’s most emblematic districts - where historic architecture meets contemporary development, best reflecting Shanghai’s layered and evolving cityscape.
