Shibuya Fashion Week is an urban fashion event that continues to broadcast culture to the world from Shibuya, a city attracting attention due to its once-in-a-century large-scale redevelopment, where diverse personalities and values intersect. Since its inaugural event in March 2014, it has been held annually in spring and autumn, reaching its 13th year and 25th event this time.
This spring, under the concept “Cultivate”, sharing the same root as “culture”, it will once again stage various content across Shibuya.

Tokyo Creative Salon 2026, one of Japan’s largest creative festivals, returns with this year’s theme, “Future Vintage, Carrying Memories of the Past into the Future, Inspiring New Creation.” The festival covers nine areas, Marunouchi, Nihonbashi, Ginza, Akasaka, Roppongi, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Haneda, and brings together a wide range of creative content, including fashion, design, art, and crafts. Admission is free.

Taiwan Select is a joint fashion show of Taiwanese fashion brands curated by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), featuring CHIA, PCES and Yentity. This collaborative showcase marks the first presentation of all three brands at Rakuten Fashion Week.

Centered on the theme of “The Diverse Expressions of Contemporary Taiwanese Fashion,” the showcase brings together three distinctive yet harmonized brand perspectives, highlighting the fusion of cultural depth, innovative spirit, and global vision within Taiwanese fashion design. CHIA, PCES, and Yentity approach design respectively through structure, materiality, and functionality, translating their design languages into cohesive fashion narratives that reflect the new generation of Taiwanese brands and their visions for the future of fashion. More than a runway presentation, this showcase serves as a platform for cross-regional dialogue, connecting creativity with industry-driven energy.

To celebrate agnès b.’s participation in by R, a total of 35 exclusive items will be released on Rakuten Fashion. The lineup includes playful takes on agnès b.’s iconic striped T-shirts, as well as a shirt, dress, and a tote bag featuring cherry blossom photographs taken by Agnès Troublé, created exclusively for this show. The YKK Fastening Award, one of Japan’s largest fashion design competitions for students, marks a milestone of 25 years of supporting the next generation of fashion creators.

During the above period, an exhibition will be held at 8/Cube (8F Shibuya Hikarie), the official venue of Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2026 A/W. Mukcyen, winner of the Tokyo Fashion Award and JFW Next Brand Award, collaborates with RakutenFWT 26AW to host a pop-up event. The venue will showcase the core of the 26SS Collection and introduce items available for pre-sale at the pop-up. On Sunday, March 22nd, designer Yuka Kimura will be present, and advance orders for select pieces from the 26FW Collection will be accepted.
Additionally, starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th, as a spin-off recording for the JFWO 20th Anniversary Podcast “Re; Mode_Room20,” a public talk show featuring designers taking flight from Tokyo to the world will be held. They will thoroughly discuss the behind-the-scenes of collection production and their enthusiasm for taking on the world.
