The Fashion Prize of Tokyo will select 1 designer that is already known internationally each year and support their fashion show in Paris. It is a new type of project that supports the brand 1 step further than the Tokyo Fashion Award project. The designer will be sponsored for fashion shows and showrooms for 2 seasons and aims to become more international. The announcement of the 6th winner will be held during the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo SS 2024.

Piece de Mirai is a project that suggests a new future through fashion.
Brands and artists will infuse new value into the remnants introduced by various companies, such as Levi's® used stock denim, Liberty Fabrics, Kvadra, Marimekko, and Bishu local materials. Students from Bunka Fashion College, Esmod Tokyo, Esmod Paris, and Tama Art University also participated.

Seivson was founded by Tzu Chin Shen in 2017.
Tzu Chin Shen has been selected as an emerging designer of the Taiwanese Culture Department for two consecutive years. Also she was selected as one of the Top 6 Emerging Asian Designers in 2016, and she made runway-style presentations at the NY and Tokyo collections with several Asian talents. She founded Seivson in 2017 and is expanding her activities in Japan, Paris and New York.

Seivson is derived from two French words "Nos", which represent us, the two girls, and "Vies" as inspirations that reflect on life.
Unrestricted design practices shows a special ambiguous style that symbolizes both balance and imbalance.

A Bathing Ape (Bape) will hold first Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo show as part of ‘by R’ project celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Bape's show will be supported through the ‘by R’ project, launched by Rakuten Group in 2020 one year after Rakuten partnered with the Japan Fashion Week Organisation to become headline sponsor for FWT. The initiative aims to support Japanese fashion designers. “by R” was emerged from Rakuten’s passion for spreading the attraction of Japanese fashion culture globally by providing talented Japanese fashion designers with various opportunities.

Established in 1993, Bape was a streetwear label founded by Nigo in 1993. It has now expanded into Men's, Women's and Kids line and is carried throughout stores in Japan and also sold in US, UK, France, China, and various Asian countries. It has also created successful collaborations with established international brands and reputable artists.

Taku Obata is a contemporary artist who presents his works specializing on wood carvings with “B-Boy” as his main theme.
On Saturday, August 26th, Neighborhood (an apparel brand which will celebrate 30th year anniversary next year) and Taku Obata will launch a collaboration projects.
To commemorate above launch, “Nbhd Taku Obata” exhibition will be held at "On Sundays” in Aoyama.
For this exhibition, there will be original drawings as well as 3D images, which is his main motif, where visitors can attempt an unique experience connecting two-dimensional view to three-dimensional space.
In addition to the collaboration items, there will be some special items exclusively available at the exhibition.
