Established in 2010, DFO is a 360-degree market development group for fashion, accessories, and lifestyle brands from around the world seeking distribution in China. DFO is dedicated to developing a customized strategy for each of its brands to foster business growth in China. DFO’s scope of services include: Distribution, PR & Press, Consulting, and TP services.
Our buyers include multi-label boutiques, online commerce, department stores, retail groups, and commercial real estate groups. Every season at Shanghai Fashion Week, we organise the largest pop-up showroom in central Shanghai. Our event receives over 1,500 buyers and press from mainland China and surrounding regions.

From the SS21 season, DFO Showroom is hosted by our newly introduced hybrid sales platform, NOVA by DFO. An official Shanghai Fashion Week event, NOVA’s Designer section aims to extend DFO’s more established showroom portfolio with emerging talents and up-and-coming designers that are new to the Chinese market.

MEIMEI DING graduated with a MA degree from Central St. Martins College in London. Before then she lived on the East Coast of the US, earning her BA from University of Pennsylvania, one of America’s top business schools. Meimei’s family has origins in China and Hong Kong.
Meimei spent 6 years working in Shanghai and Beijing as a Brand Strategist and Consultant for leading international and local brands in China. With DFO, Meimei saw the need to effectively bridge buyers in Greater China with international brands to foster China’s growing market.
