Discover British menswear brands at Pitti Uomo 107

With the support from the Department for Business & Trade (DBT), the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) will accompany a group of over 45 UK menswear brands that will showcase their FW 25-26 collections of clothing, footwear and accessories at Pitti Uomo from January 14 to 17, 2025. In UKFT's short film 'UK Fashion & Textiles: It's what we're made of' (Watch now)., UKFT aims to shine a light on UK menswear and the British brands that blend tradition, quality and craftsmanship.

French Style at Pitti Uomo 107
|
This FW25 season Promas, the French Men’s Clothing Federation and the Defi renew their collaboration and support the participation of 31 French brands in Pitti Uomo 107. This partnership reflects a shared strategic vision for the international growth of French menswear, an objective that Promas is also pursuing in the digital space through Promas LIST.
The French brands are present on 4 sections of the show : Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Fantastic classic and Superstyling, from classic to informal by combining creation and innovation.

British Fashion Council names Laura Weir as the new CEO
|
|
Laura Weir is the new chief executive officer of the British Fashion Council, effective April 28, 2025. Laura Weir succeeds the outgoing ceo, Caroline Rush CBE, who has led the business over the past 15 years and announced her intended exit last year. Caroline will exit the business in June 2025, closing the 24/25 financial year and giving sufficient time for handover.

The Italian footwear industry records a decline in the main indicators in the first nine months of 2024. Declines in exports (-9.2% in value on January-September 2023) with the sharp reduction in orders, had heavy repercussions on production activity (-18.9%) Istat index of industrial production) and turnover (-9.7%).
